Alleged Huawei MateBook GT 14 expected to bring upgraded chip and AI features

Huawei seems preparing a new notebook called ‘MateBook GT 14’ and the latest input suggests that this laptop could bring upgraded AI features and a more reliable chip. New details are here to shed more light on the upcoming alleged product.

Early inputs predicted that the Chinese tech giant may soon introduce a new notebook product with the suffix ‘GT‘ for gaming purposes. While the accuracy of this report remains uncertain, another leak says that the device could have better capabilities.

Tipster @BeijingDigitalMaster cites that the Huawei MateBook GT 14 could be more of a normal notebook rather than a gaming PC with a robust chip and AI features.

Perhaps it would be similar to the newly launched MateBook X Pro but with even more efficient functions. The blogger adds that the device does not appear to be a gaming notebook, at least for the time being. Yet, the company is likely to focus on the chipset and AI aspects of the respective notebook.

The term ‘GT’ reflects performance. Huawei already has GT variants in its wearable lineup. It looks like the firm plans to bring this version into its notebook series as well.

It is unclear whether the alleged Huawei MateBook GT 14 will arrive as a gaming notebook or remain a normal PC product. Though good news is that it could pack more interesting AI tools alongside an upgraded – powerful processor.

If named GT, there are chances that we may find this notebook lineup, particularly as a gaming product. However, we need to wait for official confirmation on this matter.

Apart from the MateBook series, the company is also keeping an eye on the Qingyun line. Some revelations pointed out that Huawei is developing a variety of Qingyun notebooks for its digital and enterprise users. A few of these may show up this month.
