Xu Zhijun will take on Huawei rotating chairman tenure from April 1, 2024

Huawei has appointed Mr. Xu Zhijun (Eric Xu) as the new Rotating and Acting Chairman of the company and he will start serving in this grade from April 01 to September 30, 2024. He will be addressed as one of the top leaders at the company.

During this tenure, Xu Zhijun will be responsible for the company’s growth and look after the Executive Committee as the head of the board of Directors.

Xu Zhijun entered the Huawei campus back in 1993 and initially served as the President of Wireless Product Line. Thereafter, he attained the badge of Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer, Chief Products & Solutions Officer, Chairman of the Investment Review Board, Rotating CEO of Huawei, and Chairman of the Strategy & Development Committee (SDC).

Ken Hu is currently taking care of the duties and responsibilities of the respective position. Though Mr. Xu Zhijun will settle on the Huawei Rotating Chairman place from April 01 and will continue to check on the duties till September 30, 2024.

Huawei’s present Rotating Chairman – Ken Hu also positioned as the Vice-chairman, a member of the company’s executive board, and the chairman of the Global Network Security and User Privacy Protection Committee.

Elaborating on the 2023 Annual Report of Huawei Technologies, Ken said the overall figures are quite in line with their forecasts. Despite emerging problems in the foreign trading scenarios and supply chain, the company managed to grow.
