Xu Zhijun will serve as Huawei’s rotating chairman (April 1 to Sep 30, 2025)

Huawei announced Xu Zhijun as the new Rotating and Acting Chairman of the company, and he will serve in this grade from April 1 (today) to Sept 30, 2025. The executive will be addressed as one of the top leaders at the Chinese firm.
Meng Wanzhou has been serving as Huawei’s Rotating Chairman from September 2024 to March 31, 2025. Now, Xu has taken on the rotating person responsibility.
Under the Huawei Rotating Chairman position, Xu Zhijun will look after the company’s growth from April 1 to September 30, 2025. He will also serve on the board of Directors and its Executive Committee.
Xu began his career in Huawei Technologies in 1993. He initially worked as the President of the Wireless Product Line. Later, he was promoted to Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer, Chief Products & Solutions Officer, Chairman of the Investment Review Board, Rotating CEO, and Chairman of Strategy and Development Committee.
Over the years, Xu has actively contributed to technological innovation, inclusive growth, and social progress. He has been serving as the company’s vice chairman and is now back to its old position till September 30, 2025.

Meng has been in the Rotating Chairman post since September 30, 2024. She has attended several summits and events. Revealing the 2024 Huawei Financial Report, Meng said that the company met its expectations last year.
Huawei aims to focus on the quality of the product this year. She said:
“In 2025, Huawei will further implement ‘win by quality’ in various management systems and business activities, adhere to quality goals, and continuously improve quality competitiveness.”
