Xiaomi speeding up Android 16-based HyperOS 2.3 development
Xiaomi is ramping up the development of the HyperOS 2.3 (Android 16). It is now seeking more models to check their eligibility with the upcoming software version and expand the internal testing of the new build to more handsets.
According to XiaomiTime, the company is evaluating the new HyperOS 2.3 version in three areas: China, Global, and European markets. The firm has started the new 2.3 software testing activity with the HyperOS 2.0.300.1 version.
Now it has dropped a new internal testing build – HyperOS 2.0.300.2 build, especially in the European markets. The Android 16-based version is open to a single device at present. But the company will soon extend the testing activity to more handsets.

Speaking of the device, Xiaomi 15 is currently taking part in the HyperOS 2.3 development phase. It is testing the new internal builds of the version and revamping the existing issues and problems to prevent them from affecting users’ experience.
HyperOS 2.3 is expected to step onto the consumer platform in July this year. By that time, the company will complete all the processes related to HyperOS 2.3 development.
