Xiaomi may copy-paste Huawei Pura 80 Ultra’s camera specs to its next flagship

Xiaomi 16 Ultra is in the works and could use Huawei Pura 80 Ultra’s main camera sensor for a better photography experience. It looks like the newly launched Pura smartphone is stealing the hearts of not only consumers but its main rivals as well.
X tipster @That_Kartikey hints that Xiaomi is teaming up with SmartSens for its upcoming flagship. After the leak, some netizens said that the firm may follow Huawei.
SmartSens Technology is a Chinese company that develops tech-pack and high-performance CMOS image sensors. It also offers advanced imaging solutions and is constantly innovating its product line with improved lens components.
Early rumors claimed that Huawei would use the SC5A0CA camera sensor for the Pura 80 Ultra. It will use SmartSens, replacing Sony and Samsung sensors.
Keeping that in mind, the upcoming Xiaomi 16 Ultra might adopt the same main camera specs as the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra. Note that these details still require an official confirmation.

Regarding the Pura 80 Ultra’s main camera, it is a one-inch ultra-high dynamic range primary camera. This 50MP lens has a f/1.6 – f/4.0 aperture and OIS capability.
Pura 80 Ultra’s main camera can deliver 15 times higher dynamic range than the Pura 70 Ultra. It can accurately restore light and dark details, making the image more layered and vibrant. Meanwhile, the multi-spectral lens acts as a cherry on top!
Huawei has further integrated the triple real-time fusion technology into the main camera, which boosts video performance. It can smartly frame and do automatic focal length switching, discovering more angles of beauty.
Perhaps, these benefits may allure Xiaomi to use the new camera sensor for its next-gen flagship.
