Xiaomi is seemingly making the HyperOS 3.0 upgrade more like iOS rather than Android’s skin. A new leak suggests that the company will adopt iOS 26’s latest liquid glass interface for HyperOS 3, offering a more interactive UI to its device users.

Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation said that he recently explored the new HyperOS 3.0 version. While everything is fine, the liquid glass interface is just perfect.

The tipster added that Xiaomi has used the liquid glass interface for the Control Center and the app icons in HyperOS 3.0. Although the case would probably be better than iOS 26, it ensures clear visuals and enhanced usability of the device.

It will further provide an improved readability experience that Apple has skipped in the iOS 26 upgrade, in favor of giving a new experience. Read the full story HERE.

So, what is liquid glass UI?

Apple has introduced a new UI design language with its latest iOS software iteration called Liquid Glass. The new capability delivers a more fluid and dynamic user experience. It simply matches the optical properties of glass with a fluid touch.

This feature contains digital meta-material that bends and shapes light, reacting to touch and movement. But it often appears transparent, which ruins readability for users.

But the new leak suggests that HyperOS 3.0 won’t suffer from readability issues and will offer a new UI experience to users. The Android 16-based update will debut in October. By that time, you can check some key details of HyperOS 3.0 UI.
