Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2 upgrade likely to turn stable in mid-May

HyperOS 2.2 upgrade can become stable in mid-May this year. The Chinese phone maker is currently busy with the beta testing of the new version. But as per an official input, we don’t have to wait much to experience the latest software upgrade.

According to XiaomiTime, the HyperOS 2.2 stable upgrade could launch in May, bringing some new camera features to eligible devices with Camera 6.0 version.

Xiaomi has shared the Camera 6.0 roadmap for compatible models earlier this month. It is expected to debut pre-installed with HyperOS 2.2. Thus, this hints that Xiaomi phone users may get the new stable upgrade by next month.

Speaking of devices, Xiaomi will begin the stable HyperOS 2.2 rollout, starting with flagship smartphones. The software distribution will take place from mid-May to mid-June for the first wave. The second wave will get the version later.
