Just like Huawei and Honor, Xiaomi has started testing the DeepSeek AI for its HyperOS 2.0 models. The company is testing the AI model’s integration into its new software and the voice assistant – Xiao AI. It has adapted to a few capabilities.
Several Weibo tipsters noted that Xiaomi Xiao AI on HyperOS 2.0 supports the DeepSeek R1 model. It can also access certain features like writing codes or an algorithm, writing articles, and answering logical reasoning-based queries.
One of the tipsters shared a screenshot of the DeepSeek R1 access on Xiao AI. Based on the image, it seems the device runs on HyperOS 2.0. The tipster revealed that users can access the advanced AI capabilities via voice input and say to Xiao AI:
“Open Deep Thinking” or “Open DeepSeek”
Xiao AI app with DeepSeek integration also supports voice-to-text function and typing input to perform certain operations and enjoy a convenient experience.
