Xiaomi adds 16 devices to Android 16-based HyperOS version testing

Xiaomi is now expanding the Android 16-based HyperOS version testing to around 16 more devices. The company has started the inspection with the top-end models. Now it is adding more handsets on the list, compatible with the latest build.

Android 16-based HyperOS version testing program contains many devices, including smartphones, tablets, foldable handsets, and more. The tech giant aims to bring the newest software experience to more eligible models in the family.

XiaomiTime noted that the company has expanded the Android 16-based software testing to around 27 devices. Although when counted, we found most of the devices are the same, but belong to different regions.

Inputs further reveal that Xiaomi is testing the HyperOS 2.0.250428.1 version on its top-tier smartphones. But other details about this build are currently unknown.

Good news is that Xiaomi is not only expanding the new software testing activity in China but globally as well. You can check the eligible devices in the list below.

Note that Xiaomi is testing the new software in China, European Economic Area (EEA), India, Russia, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Currently, the testing is limited to the flagship models, but the company will soon expand it to more devices.
