Chinese phone maker WIKO will soon launch a smartphone with a design similar to Huawei Nova 9 SE. We can assume that the company has acquired patent design rights to clone Huawei’s phone design. However, it’s not the first time Huawei lending other smartphone makers its designs.

The new WIKO phone is spotted on China’s TENAA certification platform. Therefore, we got the design characteristics that confirm it as the Huawei Nova 9 SE copy.

The images published on the TENAA website reveal a quad-camera system inside a cylindrical shape. There’s a WIKO logo on the rear side, while there’s a hole punch camera on the front display panel. The side of the phone contains a volume rocker and a power key.

WIKO previously published a promotional image on Weibo that promotes an upcoming phone featuring a camera design clone of Huawei Nova 9 SE. The image also promotes a 100-megapixel camera.

Information reveals that the phone is expected to launch by the end of this year. But, a specific date is yet to be announced.

If look for the specs, Huawei Nova 9 SE features a 108 MP High-Resolution Camera (f/1.9 aperture), 8 MP Ultra Wide Angle Camera (f/2.2 aperture), 2 MP Depth Camera (f/2.4 aperture), and a 2 MP Macro Camera (f/2.4 aperture).

Last December, China’s Telling Holding announced a joint acquisition of the WIKO mobile brand with Dongguan Financial Holdings. This acquisition expands and deploys to the upstream of the smartphone industry supply chain and opening of the overseas smartphone market.

When it comes to WIKO, the mobile brand has been identified as two world company. It was established in 2011 and mostly carried out operations in overseas markets such as Europe and Thailand.

Among these, France had been a prominent territory for the phone maker. In 2012, WIKO’s share in France reached an all-time high and second to only Samsung.
