WhatsApp will soon let you manage chat animation for emojis, stickers
WhatsApp is welcoming 2024 with an interesting chat animation feature. The application will soon enable users to manage animations of emoticons, stickers, and GIFs in a conversation. It will eventually enhance the user interaction to a greater extent.

Spotted in the WhatsApp Android beta 2.25.1.10 version, the company is working on a new chat animation feature that will make emojis, stickers, and GIFs even more fun.
The company keeps adding new changes to the app that make conversations far better. One such effort is the chat animation that will let you manage certain animations in chats. It will give you more control over how emojis/stickers should animate.
Users can separately manage the animation of an emoji, stickers, or GIFs. The funny characters will remain inactive until played by the user. You can even select the animation preference.
For instance, you can turn on the animation toggle for either emojis, stickers, GIFs, or all three at once.

Turning on the toggle will let stickers, emojis, and GIFs animate automatically. Once turned off, these will remain static until you click them. It is a perfect feature for those who often find animated emojis annoying.
WhatsApp is rolling out the new animation feature via the Google Play Beta Program to limited beta users. Although it will soon be available to all users through a stable version.
