WhatsApp will soon let you export ‘Private Processing’ reports

WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will enable users to export the “Private Processing” reports. The new capability is currently in the beta phase and is rolling out to some Android testers through the Google Play Beta Program.
Private Processing is a Meta-powered feature that lets you use AI features on the app while maintaining privacy. It allows AI tools like summarizing chats or generating writing suggestions without exposing user data to Meta’s servers.
Spotted in the Android 2.25.17.10 version, WhatsApp will soon allow its users to export Private Processing reports. The account info page now shows a dedicated tab “Export Private Processing report”.
Users can choose the report activity duration for how much activity they want to include in the reports. Don’t worry as these reports are generated on your device and they can only be accessed by you and not by WhatsApp or Meta.
One can even port these reports into another app and also choose the report data duration:
- Last 15 minutes
- Last 3 days
The first option is useful for reviewing a single interaction with AI features. But the second will help you when you want to analyze a broader pattern of AI-powered activity or review multiple interactions over time.
