WhatsApp will allow users to manage backup size

WhatsApp is designing more features for the users, in the coming time it’ll allow them to manage the backup size. In this line, it’s adding a new section to preformed this selection.

It’ll help the users in selecting the necessary data, they can further save their time, internet usages, and storage of unwanted information. Speaking of the backup, the developers just release the end-to-end backup encryption for the Android users after iOS.

Coming back to the backup management, WhatsApp might be preparing for the limited storage plan that is 2000 MB for each user of Google Drive. However, this plan is still on reports, Google hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

New Options:

As the above image shows, WhatsApp will offer users to select from photos, audio, videos, documents, and other media to manage their backup size. He/She will be independent to choose what to include in the backup from the offered options.

Furthermore, it’ll also display the media size for the corresponding section. So you can calculate the exact size for the backup

When it’ll Come for Users:

There are some measurements left to be done, so WhatsApp hasn’t enabled the backup management ability. Once this feature is ready to send, we’ll let you with further updates. Until then stay connected.
