WhatsApp to limit message sharing via new chat privacy feature

WhatsApp is developing an advanced chat privacy tool that can help users limit or restrict the sharing of a particular message or media. The feature is useful for those who want to protect their photos or videos from being shared with others.
Spotted in the Android beta 2.25.10.14 version, WhatsApp is working on an advanced chat privacy feature that can block the sharing of confidential message.
The new feature will enable users to restrict their media (photos, videos, or audios) from being saved automatically to someone’s gallery. Simply put, if you send images or videos in a chat, the media won’t be auto-saved to the recipient’s device.
Can’t auto-save media

Next, the feature will restrict exporting the entire chat history, including texts from users who have activated this setting. It is a helpful addition that will safeguard your private conversations and avoid unauthorized transfer of your media.
The feature is currently available for disappearing messages, but it will soon be added to general chats. One can keep their gallery clutter-free as well as protected via this feature.
Note that it doesn’t have any impact on forwarding. Hence, users can still forward messages. The feature is in the testing phase but could be improved in the coming versions.
