Spotted in the WhatsApp Android beta 2.25.1.11 version, the company is now rolling out a new tool that eases the creation of group chat and community. The feature is called “simplified creation” which enables you to create group chats and communities within a few simple steps.
WhatsApp now shows banners about the community section which reads:
- Simplified creation: Go to Chats to create communities, groups, and more now.
Yes, now users can create communities of group conversations directly from the Chats tab. The respective tab already has the option to create new chats or groups. But now it will let you create new communities as well.
Adding the Community creation option on the Chats page will offer a more subtle experience to users. Now you don’t have to go through different tabs to create a community. It will reduce the confusion to make new groups or communities.
This addition will further eliminate the floating button from the Community section and offer a clutter-free interface. Thus, enjoy making new chats, groups, or communities from a single interface without spending much time.
