A new delete message for everyone feature with an extended limit is being developed by WhatsApp. It’ll enable users to use the delete messages for everyone feature for up to three-month-old conversations.

At present, the users can only use the delete messages for everyone for a certain limit. Initially, the limit was 7 minutes, which means you won’t able to delete a message for everyone if it was sent more than 7 minutes old.

Later, WhatsApp extended this milt from 7 to 4096 seconds that is 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds. Now users can delete more order messages from conversations, that is an undefined time limit.

Let’s check the latest preview to get a clearer understanding of it-

As you can see in the image, users are able to delete a message for everyone that is about a month ago. Prior to this, users weren’t able to remove messages sent in this much before.

Still, WhatsApp hasn’t openly stated the limit, in the future this feature might come with further. As for now, this feature isn’t ready for the final release and finishing for beta testers.

However, the working procedure is unknown as we don’t if the message before activation of this feature can be deleted by the time or not. Furthermore, there is no specific release date is mentioned, we only expect the developers to send it with future updates.

Previous Update:

In the previous update, WhatsApp began to roll out the PIP video control bar for iOS devices. From now on, the users will be able to pause/resume the video playing within WhatsApp conversations.

In addition, users can also enlarge the PIP video screen and cancel it with the cross button. Prior to this, the Android users received this function in August, however, it’s rolling out for specific beta testers only. (Read More)
