WhatsApp is preparing a new feature called Accounts Center, which will enable users to share their status updates on Instagram and Facebook. It will allow you to manage your Meta app accounts more effectively, directly from the same application.

Spotted in the WhatsApp Android Beta version 2.25.2.9, the company will soon let users directly share their status updates on Instagram and Facebook stories.

The company is trying new ways that provide greater control to users on how they want to interact with Meta-based applications. For instance, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and more. It also enhances the cross-platform sharing capability.

In simple words, you can choose what you want to share from WhatsApp to other apps without closing the chat application. The company has added a new feature called “Accounts Center”. A short description of the feature reads:

“Control your experience across WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and more.”

The feature allows users to add their accounts to the Accounts Center and thus, connect their WhatsApp account to other Meta app accounts. It will create a hub-like feel in the app where you can control cross-platform sharing easily.

Accounts Center will further enable a single sign-on feature to improve the log-in process into WhatsApp via Meta account. Note that the feature is optional and will only work when users want to use them. Hence, there’s no risk to user privacy.
