WhatsApp may enable you to create and share events in individual chats

WhatsApp keeps on exploring new features that can make the chat app more useful and creative for users. As of now, the company is preparing a new tool that will enable users to create and share events directly in the WhatsApp individual chats.
Events in WhatsApp are a significant capability. It allows users to plan as well as organize virtual meetings, parties, and more in a group chat or community group.
The feature has been limited to group chats so far. Although WhatsApp is now bringing the “create and share events” ability to individual chats. The new addition is rolling out with the Android beta 2.25.3.6 version via Google Play Beta Program.
As the name suggests, the feature will allow users to schedule events directly in private chats. This attempt will ease organizing personal appointments and reminders.
Users can easily schedule meetings or reminders for important tasks and can coordinate for due dates or other occasions without any third-party calendar apps. It will further avoid confusion between two persons regarding a mutual topic.

The best part is that users can specify the location in the event or link it to an audio or video call, just like in group events. It is a perfect tool for students and workers. Both parties can access the event, accept it, or decline it as per their preference.
Events for individual chats also benefit WhatsApp Business users as one can set project deadlines or payment reminders. The feature is currently in the beta stage. But it may soon be available to all WhatsApp users.
