WhatsApp improving voice/video call experience with new features

WhatsApp is improving the voice and video call experience for Android users. The company is making certain amendments to the call interface of the application, making it easier and more convenient for users to connect with their loved ones.
Spotted in the WhatsApp Android beta 2.25.10.16 version, the company is making special changes to the voice and video call experience for users. The latest testing build is rolling out to limited beta testers via the Google Play Beta Program.
Inputs reveal that the company has added a new mute button to the calling interface, which now directly appears in the notification panel. Users can tap on it while receiving an incoming voice call.
As the name suggests, the button will let you accept the call while muting the mic. It is useful at times when you don’t want to miss the call but also do not want to join it right away.
Next is the capability of disabling the camera before accepting an incoming video call. Earlier, users needed to answer the call to turn off the camera. But this feature is now more significant as you can directly turn the lens off without receiving the call.
WhatsApp is also bringing emoji reactions to video calls. Participants can react on video calls in real time without interrupting the conversation. All these features are coming soon to all WhatsApp users. Stay tuned.
