A few days ago, WhatsApp has released a minor 2.21.21.9 update for its users. Although it was a regular update and didn’t bring something notable, an annoying bug started to occur after installing this update.

According to WABetaInfo, the users who updated on the 2.21.21.9 and 2.21.21.8 versions were not able to access the WhatsApp Group Info due to this unknown bug. There were numerous reports about these issues on the Twitter handles. However, only some specific users had received this update previously.

Luckily, WhatsApp has soon acknowledged this bug that is crashing groups and group info. The team has released the 2.21.21.10 update to fix this bug. Anyhow, if you are also facing glitches and crashes while accessing WhatsApp groups, you can update your app on this latest version to resolve this problem.

Apart from this, WhatsApp has also solved some other problems reported by the specific beta testers in this new version. The beta users were encountering some problems with profile pictures but the new update had fixed the issue for now.

More About WhatsApp:

WhatsApp is preparing to add a new function called “My Contects Except” in the privacy settings. It is a similar feature we have used in the WhatsApp Status Privacy and Group Settings. As of now, the Facebook-owned firm has confirmed this custom privacy option for WhatsApp About, Last Seen, and Profile Picture.

Speaking about its working manner, it follows the vice versa concept. It will allow you to hide your activities from some specific users registered in your contact list. However, you also won’t be able to see their activities. At present, the developers are adding further measurements and will roll out with the future update for Android and iOS platforms.
