Just like other application that supports multiple features, WhatsApp has been working on a most useful function that is WhatsApp Pay. Last year, WhatsApp introduced WhatsApp Pay for the first time and after its success, WhatsApp started expanding to other countries.

According to the WABetaInfo, one year ago, WhatsApp has announced bringing payments to WhatsApp for people and small businesses in Brazil. But due to some complications with Brazilian banks, it had to postpone the launch in the country due to regulatory scrutiny.

After solving the issues, WhatsApp has now received the authority and now announced that it is again rolling out send money to your friends and family via WhatsApp digital payment powered by Facebook Pay for users in Brazil.

Currently, many peoples started using WhatsApp more than just a messaging platform. The small store’s owner or businessmen use catalogs to show their products are expanding through WhatsApp.

In this line, adding digital payment can be easier for customers to pay for products right through WhatsApp going forward. To make payments as safe as possible, WhatsApp requires a special Facebook Pay PIN or fingerprint for authorization.

In the beginning, only a transaction of debit or credit cards issued by some banks are compatible, but WhatsApp has promised to bring the service to more partners in the future.

As per the information, more countries including Mexico, UK, and Spain are also eligible to get the WhatsApp Payment feature in near future.
