As we can see in the image, Whats has finished registering Android phones for the Chat migration. Now, we are waiting for further instruction on how a user can migrate the conversation history on iPhones. To be mentioned, the iOS users have already received this feature in August but it only supports Samsung devices at present.

Besides, WhatsApp assures the users to soon add more devices, yet no further progress has been spotted to date. For now, let’s give a brief check on the chat migration feature.

WhatsApp Chat Migration Feature:

WhatsApp iOS users can transfer their conversation history on Samsung devices using the “Switch to Android” app and a connection cable. To access the feature open WhatsApp account>> Settings>> Chat and they can find the “Move Chats to Android” option there.

Just tap on the start button, confirm the action and wait for the device to prepare. After finishing the process, users can set their Android device and use WhatsApp with all their previous chats. Don’t forget to keep your iPhone unlocked and open the app during the entire process.

Availability:

At present, WhatsApp hasn’t specified any date to release the chat migration feature. However, as it nearly finished the development, Android users will soon receive it. We’ll bring you more insight as the matter proceed further. Stay connected!
