WhatsApp beta for Android enables smaller chat list profile picture and removes line separators

WhatsApp beta for Android bringing the latest changes in the user interface, these new optimizations are related to the chat list profile picture, which now appears to be smaller compared to the previous one.

According to Wabetainfo, this is not a big change in terms of the UI overhaul but it is related to the UI improvements such as removal of the line separator between two sections or the UI elements.

Previously, the chat app has ousted the line separator between the chat cells of individual contact, which is a bit odd but it’s what has been removed so far in the app.

For your information, the latest features are only available for the WhatsApp beta testers and will rollout to regular users with a stable rollout. However, the beta features are subject to change until the final release.
