WhatsApp Beta brings 18 new color options for chat themes on Android
WhatsApp is once again up to give a makeover to its chat themes, and this time, the company is exploring 18 new color options. These shades aim to give a more vibrant and colorful look to your chat screen, making it more interactive than ever!
Found in the Android beta 2.25.19.2 version, WhatsApp is releasing 18 new color options for chat themes. The latest enhancement is available to some Android beta testers at the moment through the Google Play Beta Program.
It is worth mentioning that these extra 18 colors will expand the color plate to 38 options. Users can now choose from a wide range of colors to alter as well as customize their chat screen accordingly, without the shortage of their favorite shade.
As per the update details, the new collection of colors is compatible with both light and dark themes of the chat application. Users can choose any mode to enjoy the appealing colors without facing any compromise in the visual quality.
Note that WhatsApp will automatically adapt the individual chat interface to match the selected color. On the greener side, the chat bubbles, wallpaper, and doodles within the chat will also change to reflect the chosen theme color.
One can apply these colors on a per-chat basis or to all conversations as per their preference. Though if the theme is selected from the main settings, it may appear on all chats and channels for a consistent look within the app.
