WhatsApp Android may get a revamped emoji reaction sheet
WhatsApp is improving the emoji reaction sheet for its Android app version. The company aims to make the respective chat element interactive as well as useful for the app users. The new addition may get official via stable update in the time ahead.
Meta-powered chat application has shown various enhancements over time. It has always brought interesting features that can boost the user experience. As of now, the company is exploring a small but effective enhancement for the app.
Spotted in the Android beta 2.25.6.15 beta version, WhatsApp is improving the emoji reaction sheet for individual chats, groups, and Channels. The latest change is available to a limited number of beta testers through the Google Play Beta Program.
Earlier, the emoji reaction interface showed a vertical list of users who have reacted to a particular message. Since all reactions were combined into one list, it becomes difficult to look for a specific reaction as well as annoying to scroll through them.

But the company is optimizing the way emoji reactions are shown on the app. It now has a new interface with four reactions per row. This revamp will reduce the clutter that often appeared in the previous versions.
The compact layout will further enable users to browse the reactions quickly instead of scrolling through a lengthy list. It offers a cleaner and subtle emoji reaction sheet.
It is a perfect addition for groups and channels that have a large number of participants. Meanwhile, the chats will show the emoji reactions vertically, with each row displaying the name of the contact who reacted to the message.
