WhatsApp adding a new ‘guest’ feature to chat events

WhatsApp has been readying a feature to add events in private chats. Now it seems the company has some other plans for this new capability. As per a new input, WhatsApp is preparing a significant “Guest” feature for the Chat events.
Events is a useful feature that enables group members to schedule meetings, set reminders, and organize new occasions as needed. The company is now bringing this feature to individual chats but with a new twist that will enhance the user experience.
Spotted in the Android beta 2.25.3.17 version, WhatsApp is preparing a ‘Guest’ feature for chat events. The feature is currently available to limited beta testers.
Guest feature in the chat events will allow users to call guests in the events. In simple words, those who receive an ‘event invitation’ in their chats or groups will be able to bring a guest and confirm their presence in advance to the event organizer.
Users can simply confirm or decline the presence of an additional guest. Note that only the event creator will have the ability to enable or disable the guest feature before scheduling the event. In case the feature is disabled, it will reflect that no additional guests are allowed in the event.
The feature helps expand the social network and further ensures telling more individuals about a particular matter. The feature is currently in the testing phase but you can experience it by enrolling in the Google Play Beta Program.
