We’re in December and still EMUI 13 is missing

We’re in December and still, Huawei has not served us with any details about EMUI 13 rollout. Hence, the wait is quite exhausting.

EMUI 13 is a brand new journey for Huawei smartphone users. Yet, it still remains enclosed on Huawei Mate 50 Pro, while we’re anticipating the next major upgrade.

On one side, Huawei phones continue to test new HarmonyOS 3 beta builds in China. On the other side, global users are upgrading with November 2022 EMUI security patch.

Compared to EMUI 12, Huawei is running quite slow, as it has not even started beta testing. Furthermore, the tech maker has not released the list of eligible devices to upgrade with this new Huawei software.

Users have been expecting Huawei to start delivering EMUI 13 by December 2022. However, it’s stretching too far. Currently, the company has not revealed anything special on this matter.

EMUI 13:

EMUI 13 is already listed on the official website and it includes new user changes in the feature section. It has new smart folders, that allow you to resize the large folders in different layouts. This helps you to organize the on-screen applications in a better way.

Global Huawei smartphone users will also get the brand new service widgets, which weren’t available in EMUI 12. Therefore, it’ll surely improve the screen on information for the EMUI 13 users.

If you are a quick action guy, then you should better look at the app swipe-up gestures. Yes, it’s an innovative feature, derived directly from the HarmonyOS ecosystem. You just have to swipe up to launch a floating window of options.

This window will be loaded with a number of key features of that particular application. This is one of the most interacting features Huawei has ever built on smartphone software. That’s not it, the app swipe-up feature is only available for HarmonyOS as compared to Android and iOS.
