Upcoming Honor phones to bring Google Gemini AI capabilities

Honor is preparing to offer global users two New Year 2025 presents: Magic 7 series phones and Google Gemini AI. The company has announced that its future smartphones will run on some brand-new AI capabilities for the best user experience.

The tech giant shared a post on its official X page announcing that the new Honor phones will integrate Google Gemini AI features. Simply put, the global Magic 7 Pro and Porsche Edition will bring a pre-installed Gemini AI application.

Google and Honor partnered a few years ago to bring excellent benefits to more consumers. The cooperation offered Google’s Circle to Search feature to top-end Honor devices like the Magic V3 foldable and the 200 series.

The collaboration also enabled Honor to become the first in the Android 15 beta rollout race. Now the company is ready to deliver Gemini AI experience to its users.

Gemini AI Features:

Gemini AI will unlock a set of exciting and smart tools. For instance, Honor AI Notes, AI Photo Expansion, AI Style, and AI Translation. These tools will eventually enhance the Magic 7 series’ productivity, creativity, and mainly – convenience.

Some other features could appear in terms of AI writing, photo editing, or camera usage. The Gemini AI will not remain limited to the Magic 7 series but will continue to integrate into future Honor phones. The CEO of Honor – Zhao Ming says:

“As AI continues to transform the smartphone experience, Honor is dedicated to delivering the latest AI advancements to our users globally. Our enhanced partnership with Google marks a major milestone in making advanced AI more accessible, beginning with the integration of Gemini in our upcoming Honor Magic 7 series.”

Honor is yet to reveal the Magic 7 series launch date for global consumers. But an official pre-order listing suggested that the flagship models will be available by the end of this month.
