POCO is ready to debut the 4G version of the POCO M4 Pro 5G smartphone, which was initially launched in November 2021. Now, this unreleased POCO M4 Pro 4G smartphone is getting the latest February 2022 security update for improved system security.

As per information, the official global launch of POCO M4 Pro 4G along with POCO X4 Pro is set for February 28th at 20:00 GMT+8. Further, this upcoming 4G model will be the rebranded version of the newly revealed Redmi Note 11S smartphone.

Ahead of the unveiling, the first update of POCO M4 Pro 4G comes with MIUI version V13.0.5.0.RKEMIXM and install the February 2022 security improvements. To upgrade over the latest firmware, the corresponding device owners need to download the update package weighing around 2.7GB.

The latest POCO M4 Pro 4G update confirmed that this smartphone is arriving with MIUI 13 software system based on Android 11. Recently, the POCO M4 Pro 4G has appeared on the Google Play Console site revealing key specs.

  • Tap on System Updates
  • Tap on Download and Install
  • Once the process is completed, reboot the device

Previous information discloses that the POCO M4 Pro has the code name “fleur” which features a Full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2400p resolution and is powered by an Helio G96 chipset. It may come with a 6.43-inch punch hole AMOLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate.

This smartphone arrives with 6 GB of RAM. However, we’re also expecting variants with 4 GB and even 8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it could start with 64 GB and go up to 128 GB. It may have a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Also, the device will also get a quad-camera system that will consist of a primary 108 MP snapper, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and two 2 MP sensors for depth and macro shooters. For selfies, the device will be equipped with a 16 MP selfie camera.
