These Xiaomi devices could be first to get HyperOS 2.2 upgrade
Xiaomi has started internally testing the HyperOS 2.2 software version for its devices. After the 2.1 build launch, the company is working on another major and significant upgrade that could introduce some more interesting features to phone holders.
HyperOS 2.0 went live in November 2024. The AI-powered software offers multiple UI changes, new security tools, better privacy, and improved device performance.
Later, the company dropped the HyperOS 2.1 software build which brought another wave of surprising features. It mainly focused on the camera segment and user experience. Xiaomi kicked off the version in global markets to flagship phones.
Now the tech giant is working on the Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2 software update and here are the devices that could be the first to fetch the new version. The list contains flagship models launched recently in China and making their way to the global stage.

HyperOS 2.2 is currently in the testing phase but may roll out in late March or early April. The version will be based on Android 15, but will likely bring only a few enhancements as the company has already released two major builds.
