Xiaomi is moving towards HyperOS 2.2 and the 2.1 update version is rolling out in the air for many devices. But a new input points out some excellent phones that the company forgot to give 2.1 build benefits and will no longer offer new upgrades.

Yes, some important Xiaomi devices will miss out on HyperOS 2.1 and 2.2 update versions. Despite being efficient, these smartphones won’t grab the new build.

The list counts Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO models. It also consists of a tablet that will not receive the upcoming major software builds and their whopping features.

You can check the list of non-eligible devices for HyperOS 2.2 and 2.1 build:

  • Xiaomi 11 Series (all models)
  • Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
  • Xiaomi Pad 6
  • Redmi Note 12 5G
  • Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G
  • Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G
  • Redmi K50 Series (excluding Redmi K50 Ultra)
  • POCO M5 Series
  • POCO X5 Series
  • POCO F4 Series

The major Android upgrade cycle for these devices might have reached the end. Hence, the company may halt the major update distribution for them.

In case you want to explore the latest HyperOS software features, we suggest you upgrade your device to a newer model. Xiaomi 15 Ultra is on the way to hit the consumer platform with top-notch hardware capabilities and software changes.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra will debut on February 27 in the Chinese market. It will step on the global stage on March 2. The devices may run on the HyperOS 2.1 out of the box.
