EMUI 13 Beta devices

After a long time, Huawei sent EMUI 13 beta as an exciting message to the global smartphone and here we are ready to tell about the first phase of devices that can taste this new EMUI version.

Due to limited availability, Huawei initially began this activity in the Asia region. But more countries will get it as soon as the beta program expands. We hope that beta activity reaches soon to European users.

For the moment, Huawei is adopting the following devices for the first phase of EMUI 13 beta:

  1. Huawei P50 Pro
  2. Huawei P50 Pocket
  3. Huawei Mate Xs 2

You should know that Huawei is sharing a limited amount of slots to conduct this beta program among global smartphone users. But this could vary depending on the device that you own as well as your country.

We have been anticipating these devices to get the first slot in the beta testing pool. Yet, we want to see more smartphones get a seat on the EMUI 13 beta wagon.

EMUI 13:

EMUI 13 comes with brand new changes in the user interface and there are some hidden gems waiting for you to try on hand. This includes the new smart folders, which are reinvented with a customized layout option, which you change according to your preference.

Also, Huawei is sending new stack and group widget features for you to keep the screen clean. You should know that this feature is directly taken from HarmonyOS 3 operating system.

Don’t forget the new swipe gestures, this was missing from action in EMUI 12 but now Huawei global users are entitled to get them with EMUI 13.

Huawei has also installed the latest optimization that will speed up the operations throughout the interactions. With this start, Huawei marked days to rollout EMUI 13 for old devices but a roadmap is still awaited. Of which, we’ll keep you posted.
