Temperature Measurement technology for smartphones patented by Huawei

On March 31, 2020, Huawei has applied for a patent for its “Temperature Measurement” technology used on smartphones, which is officially published on November 17.

According to the information, Huawei’s latest patent is entitled “Mobile phone with a graphical user interface for temperature measurement and display results”. The patent type is an appearance patent. The application date is March 31, 2020, and the publication number is CN306175428S.

The abstract shows that the patent is after scanning the human body or object through the camera of a mobile phone or tablet, the measured temperature information of the human body or object is displayed in the middle of the main view interface.

Previously in June, Honor has launched the Honor Play 4 Pro, which supports temperature measurement by just pointing the phone at the person’s forehead, and the phone displays temperature through an application installed on the Play 4 Pro.

Moreover, the recently released Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Design Collector’s Edition also comes with a temperature measurement function.
