Sunny Optical supplied camera and Samsung provided foldable screen for Huawei Mate X2

Huawei is set to reveal its new generation folding smartphone, Huawei Mate X2. The official launch of Mate X2 will be scheduled for February 22, 2021. This smartphone will come with an inward foldable design, Kirin 9000 processer, and more.

According to the latest news coming from Chinese media, Huawei Mate X2 uses new camera technologies that are purchased from Chinese lens maker Sunny Optical and Ou Feiguang. While Huawei has bought the foldable display from South Korea’s Samsung.

Huawei Mate X2 is likely to packs with 8.01-inch main screen, 6.45 inch secondary screen, 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2 mm dimension, Kirin 9000 processor, Bluetooth 5.1, and more.

In terms of the camera, the Mate X2 brings 50MP+16MP+12MP+8MP quad-camera system and 16MP selfie camera. It also offers a 4400 mAh battery that supports 66W flash charging as well as received WiFi 6 certificate and network access certification.
