Stelato S9 EREV empowers Huawei self-driving tech goals with 4000 unit sales

Richard Yu, the Chairman of Huawei Smart Automotive Solutions, today revealed that the Stelato S9 has surpassed 4000 units in sales. HarmonyOS Smart Driving Unit has delivered more than 4K S9 smart vehicles in the past month, May 2025.

Here, the senior official is talking about the extended range version of the Huawei STELATO S9, which has reached more than 4000 units in sales last month. It is another major achievement for the company in the race for self-driving technology.

STELATO S9 debuted in August 2024. With the booming sales of the basic version, Huawei and BAIC started developing an ER version of the electric sedan.

Both parties unveiled the STELATO S9 extended range version officially on April 16 with dynamic driving capabilities. Huawei integrated smart self-driving solutions into the new sedan, making it a perfect and luxurious car for consumers.

As of now, Richard Yu announced that the ultimate car scored an amazing sales figure within a few months of launch. And that’s just the beginning, as the top-notch features of the STELATO S9 extended-range version will attract more attention.

Apart from STELATO S9, Richard mentioned that the Maextro S800 has exceeded 5000 orders. Sharing the excitement on his official Weibo page, Richard said:

“The number of S9 deliveries in the past month has exceeded 4000! The number of orders for S800 has exceeded 5000! HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving luxury sedans are becoming more and more popular among users! Technology redefines luxury! Welcome to our store to experience it!”
