Following the registrations, Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will receive the official EMUI version 10.0.0.166.
The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro requires to be updated on EMUI version 188.8.131.52. Users can check their build version by going into Settings > System.
Tip: Also, before upgrading to the beta version, we recommend users to back up important data to avoid any data loss.
Following China, Huawei P30 and P30 Pro’s global variants may also receive stable EMUI 10.0 very soon because the required version to receive this update comes with October 2019 security patch, which Huawei is already rolling out for the global variants.
However, you can keep on checking for the update by going into Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.
