Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro screen protectors have been leaked online and revealed massive information about the design.

According to the images of screen protectors films shared by a Weibo tipster DigitalChatStation, Huawei Mate 50 will feature a hole punch screen. On the other hand, the Mate 50 Pro will feature a notch on the head and curved edges on the left and right sides of the screen.

As you can see in the picture below, Huawei Mate 50 Pro has wide left and right space than Mate 50. This could reflect that the Mate 50 might have featured a flat panel but we’ll have to look more into this matter.

Furthermore, the notch is wide and expands similar to the Huawei Mate 20 series, which is a surprising element of this story. Previous reports reveal that Huawei has prepared a new face id for this flagship and Mate 50 Pro will be the first to adopt it.

Moreover, it would be interesting to see, why Huawei has brought back the notch system that has been dropped after the launch of the Mate 30 devices. Meanwhile, the design of the Mate 40 lineup was also loved by the consumers, especially for the Mate 40 Pro models.

Huawei Mate 50 series:

It’s reported that the Huawei Mate 50 series will further push the camera section, as it will retain the round camera bump design but with improved photography features. As revealed by the company, XMAGE is the next mobile camera technology brand that the Chinese tech maker is planning to grow and it’ll be featured on future flaghip devices. And since Leica has moved to Xiaomi, we could expect that the Mate 50 series may come with an XMAGE camera.

Currently, Huawei has not announced any specific details about this upcoming flagship but it’s expected that there could be an announcement made at the HarmonyOS 3.0 launch event. For the time being it’s speculated that the launch is scheduled by the end of August.
