Samsung Galaxy phones to get Google Identity Check with One UI 7

All Samsung Galaxy phone users will soon get the blessing of Google Identity Check with One UI 7 update. That’s not us, but Google itself suggested that its new feature is coming to more Samsung Galaxy devices in the upcoming weeks.

Identity Check acts as an additional shield of protection. It is a software-based security guard that protects your data if your device is stolen. It uses biometrics and other safeguards to verify your identity and keeps your data safe in faulty places.

The feature went live with Android 15 and Samsung is now bringing it to its devices with One UI 7. The Pixel phone maker further added consent to this matter.

Google has reportedly confirmed that its Identity Check feature is coming soon to Samsung Galaxy phones with One UI 7. Although certain details are still unclear.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series currently supports the respective security feature. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 phone users are also capable of experiencing this extra safety. But how many more models will get this blessing is unknown at the moment.

The US tech giant didn’t reveal which One UI 7.0 update will bring the Identity Check feature for Samsung devices, and whether it will reach all One UI 7 eligible models or limited handsets. Though things will likely be clear in the time ahead.

One UI 7 stable version is out. Samsung has said to roll out the new software to all Galaxy S series smartphones by the end of first quarter. The appropriate time could be March 31. Apart from the security check, Samsung may bring a list of interesting camera feature upgrades and other changes to Galaxy phones.
