SAIC to use Huawei smart driving solutions for new EV project
SAIC allegedly plans to cooperate with Huawei for its smart vehicle driving solutions. Both parties are said to pen down strategic cooperation over a new EV project tomorrow. The firms are planning some more amazing cars for Chinese consumers.
SAIC Motor is a Chinese automobile firm. It counts as one of the largest car manufacturers in China and mainly focuses on plug-in electric vehicle manufacturing.
Earlier, Huawei and SAIC jointly made many SUVs where the former supplied advanced car solutions while the latter was responsible for the smart car making.
Now both companies may once again collaborate on a new EV project. As per inputs, SAIC may sign a strategic cooperation with Huawei tomorrow for its smart driving solutions. The company will use these techs for the project codenamed “ES37”.
ES37 refers to Feifan RC7. It would be the third model of Feifan and come as a medium-sized pure electric SUV. It may launch by the second quarter of this year.
RC7 car could wear a price tag of 200000 yuan and will likely debut with high-end characteristics. It is said to run on Huawei smart driving solutions and offer safer, faster, and more convenient driving experience to consumers than ever before.
