Rumor says Huawei to introduce new cooling tech for Mate 80 flagship

A new rumor says that Huawei could launch the Mate 80 series with a new and advanced cooling tech. While the top-end lineup has time to go official, it started emerging in the leaks and rumors section for its extraordinary upgrades and specs.
Huawei is not leaving any space to redefine user experience in its upcoming flagship phones. The Mate 70 series was an ultimate lineup launched with new AI features and technologies. Now, the company aims for even better changes in the next lineup.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu says that Huawei is testing a new air cooling tech for Mate 80. It suggested an improved heat dissipation system for the next-gen lineup.
The air cooling module, mostly used in gaming phones, contains a radial fan as well as an air duct shielding some significant components of the device.
This mechanism aims to reduce the heat generated by the chip or other parts of the phone and enhance the overall device’s performance even in heavy operations.
Since the air cooling method includes certain components, it occupies a lot of space in the device, making it thicker. Although Huawei may find a solution in this case.

Mate 70 series uses a 6870mm large-area full-screen flexible liquid-cooled VC. It is a thermal management system that depends on evaporation and condensation to dissipate heat from a phone’s components. It keeps the phone cool even when running hot.
On the flip side, the company has used an ice-cutting graphene cooling tech for the Mate X6 foldable. It ensures the device remains cool in high-load operations.
While the chip remains a major concern, Huawei integrates such solutions into its devices that help them stand apart in the smartphone market.
Now, the company is readying the next-gen flagship lineup and exploring new technologies that can make it more powerful than the Mate 70 handsets.
