Redmi Note 9 5G starts receiving December 2021 security update
Xiaomi has dispatched the latest MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version update for Redmi Note 9 5G that brings December 2021 security patch. This update mainly enhanced the system security and optimizes overall device performance to provide a better user experience.
Last September, Xiaomi has distributed the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version update for Redmi Note 9 5G smartphone users in China. Speaking about, the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced, it improves the system performance, saves battery, and new algorithm to allocate resources dynamically to ensure a smooth experience and more.
Coming to the latest update, Redmi Note 9 5G December 2021 update holds Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version V12.5.9.0.RJECNXM and comes with a ROM size of 4.3GB. To be mentioned, this update is rolling out in the Chinese market.
On the other hand, Xiaomi is currently busy seeding the Android 12 based MIUI 13 version update in the eligible device launched across the globe. In the meantime, the company is also serving the security patches for its devices for improved system security.

Update Steps:
Open phone’s settings, go to about phone, tap on system updates. Wait for seconds, while the phone is connecting to the server and searching for the latest update. Afterward, press the download button and install it.
Before proceeding towards the update, make sure that the device must be charged at least 30% or above. Also, maintain sufficient free space and use stable data/WiFi connection for buffer-free download.
