WhatsApp Desktop Pin chats

WhatsApp has started to enable the Pin chats function for desktops users, making it easier to categorize the chats. The previous report reveals that WhatsApp has enabled the desktop beta program and this’s no doubt a beta update.

If you have ever noticed in multi-device or to be more precise WhatsApp Desktop, the users aren’t able to pin chats. A kind of compatibility issue with multi-device caused users to use this function until now.

However, the team has resolved it with the new update. From now on, the desktop/web users can pin their important chats and will be able to find them on smartphones as well as desktops. You can check the preview below-

As described in the above image, users can pin any chat on the desktop and it’ll simultaneously sync between linked devices. Users won’t need to pin chats on different devices separately. It means, when users attach any contact to the top, they will be able to find them on smartphones as well.

Rolling Out Status:

According to the info, WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2143.3 is enabling the pin chats features in the system. Furthermore, it’s only available for macOS only, at present. Users on Window OS can wait for a while to the next version.

The team is gradually expanding the availability of this feature. In case you are on the same version or aren’t able to use it on the same version, it might not have been enabled on your device.

More About WhatsApp:

In the previous update, WhatsApp informs of designing the privacy settings for the web users. Once this feature is ready to send for the users, they’ll be able to customize the permission within the system or without using their smartphones. (Read Full Story Here)
