Petal Mail Launched: An all in one Huawei email and answer to Google’s Gmail

Today, Huawei has finally launched the Petal Mail, a new e-mail service that offers various new services and works as an all-around solution within the entire Huawei ecosystem.

According to the official listing, Petal Mail works as a regular mail app but is powered by Huawei cloud technologies that help you to sync all of your mail across different Huawei devices.

To be mentioned Petal Mail in Huawei devices fetches user information from Huawei ID including username and other required details.

Some of the notable features are:

  • Your Petal Mail address can be used as your HUAWEI ID, so you can use it to access other Huawei services too.
  • You’ll also be able to log in to your inbox using other verification methods linked to your HUAWEI ID (such as Face Recognition, Fingerprint ID, or SMS verification).
  • Send and receive emails with ease, including cc’ing and bcc’ing, attaching files, and more.
  • Manage your emails efficiently by swiping and tapping.
  • Organize your inbox by starring, archiving, and deleting emails, marking spam emails, and more.
  • Get real-time email reminders so you never miss a thing.

Huawei Petal Mail Path to Launch:

Previous information suggests that since January 2021, Huawei started preparing itself to launch Petal Mail and applied for the Petal Mail trademark in China.

In March, the Chinese tech giant begins the Petal Mail beta-testing limited to the Chinese market. Allowing interesting users to explore and experience the new services.

Following the exclusion of Google Mobile Service (GMS), Huawei has to drop apps such as Gmail but now with the introduction of the Petal Mail, Huawei will be able to provide extension all-in-one services to the consumers.
