Earlier today we heard that Japanese firm Panasonic said it’s cutting business ties with Huawei but the company has now said that it is inspecting products over US trading rules and treating Huawei normally.

Panasonic to halt business ties with Huawei for security concerns

But it later said that business operations that were not in breach of US regulations would continue to trade normally with Huawei, reported BBC.

“Panasonic will continue to strictly abide by the laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which we conduct business,” it said.

Last week, the US Commerce Department added Huawei into the trade blacklist and imposed restrictions that’ll make it very difficult for the company to do business with American firms.

In response to this action, Huawei said it’s being bullied by the US government and the restrictions on the company are politically motivated.
