Huawei-Dronetech will bring 5G smart farming facilities to Austria
On October 4, Huawei and Dronetech has shaken their hands to provide 5G smart farming facilities in Austria. In this aspect, both cooperations will work on introducing new 5G technologies that can aid sustainability in the agriculture field.
Dronetech is one of the largest drone service providers in Austria. Recently, the company came in touch with Huawei to initiate the 5G spectrum in the region. Currently, both firms have started to expand their partnership and bring new 5G-oriented applications to the country.
Last year, Huawei and Dronetech brought their pioneer project regarding the 5G and IoT tech advancement for smart farming. Besides, the companies also met the agricultural experts and discussed how 5G technology can promote sustainable farm business.
Now both companies are looking forward to new inventions that can elevate the growth of smart farming in Austria. Currently, Huawei and Dronetech announced that they have entered the second stage ‘Digital Sky’ for farming-related services.
Consequently, at this stage, Huawei will provide cloud computing services along with 5G. This will be the base for real-time AI analysis. In the meantime, Dronetech’s drone, equipped with high-resolution cameras and sensors will inspect the land and objects. By doing so, it will provide active scenarios to operators instantly.
The companies will also develop a shared economy procedure for drone facilities. So that users can easily rent the drone technologies and can use their applications for a variety of purposes.
New technologies build smart ways of farming!
As a result of these technologies, farmers would be able to notice small insects, monitor the crop status, predict harvest, can optimize the use of water, and utilize the chemicals and pesticides precisely, with minimum wastage.
Though, network coverage is still a big challenge in such technology. As of now, 5G connections are working for the end-user who resides indoors (ground level). However, drones that fly 50 meters above still need some best network solutions.
But anyhow, both tech officials will possibly bring new technology for the benefit of the Austrian consumers. The CEO of Dronetech – David Hopf conveyed the following message:
“AI-powered drones are important enablers for the sustainable future of agriculture. Partnered with Huawei, we developed a solution that can not only massively reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers but also enhance farming efficiency and cut labor costs. This helps our food supply chains to be more sustainable.”
Huawei P50 Pro suddenly disappeared from global markets
There’s a lot more happening in the Huawei world, the company is making changes in the P50 Pro and they started to appear in the global market, as the phone has now disappeared.
Huawei has recently pulled all of the Huawei P50 Pro models from global markets and it’s happened quite suddenly. But why? To find an answer, we need to look at recent development.
Huawei has marked some changes in the design of the P50 series in China, the Chinese tech maker has removed the Leica branding on these two devices.
To confirm, Huawei has listed these phones on Vmall and the official Huawei China consumers website. As for now, Huawei has not officially confirmed any reason but we get the idea.
Similarly, Huawei P50 Pro global models have disappeared from markets around the globe. A week ago, all of the store pages were available with the message ‘No results found error.
Guys over Huaweiblog also confirm that something has happened and Huawei has flipped the same table for the global consumers. Still, the webpage has not been repaired.
Currently, the Huawei P series is completely outcasted from the portfolio and there’s only the P50 Pocket that is holding the board.
Specs of the phone have not been changed and the company has only removed a small change on the device. Hence, we can expect the phone to feature the same figure as before.
Huawei P50 Pro:
This flaghip comes with a dual-matrix camera design, 120Hz refresh rate display, 100X zoom, and a 100-degree ultra-wide-angle camera. It has 66W supercharge and 50W wireless charging support and EMUI 12 software.
Huawei won first place in smart metro equipment 2022
Recently, China Unicom published a list of 4 massive competitors in the field of metro tech and solutions. Among the major tech makers, Huawei is the one to achieve the first rank in smart metro equipment 2022 with a quotation of 3.297 billion yuan.
Generally, China Unicom has engaged itself in Smart Metro Equipment Centralized Procurement. As per the procurement firm, the plan is to purchase 84,929 sets of intelligent and efficient metropolitan area networks and to expand the existing work.
On the other hand, this procurement of smart metro automation serves as the major target of the 5G bearer networks in 2022. Thus, China Unicom brought this smart metro 2022 equipment among four significant 5G operators: Huawei, ZTE, Fiberhome, and H3C.
The latest information also reveals that the quotations for ZTE, Fiberhome, and H3C were 3.176 billion yuan, 3.067 billion yuan, and 2.721 billion yuan, respectively.
This is not the first time that the smart metro is in the news headlines. Back in 2020, China Unicom initiated the last round of this procurement. In comparison to the past, Huawei has a bid share of more than 52%. Meanwhile, ZTE has a share of more than 25%. The leftover is in the area of Fiberhome and Xinhua.
Advantages of China Unicom smart metropolitan area network
The smart metropolitan area network mainly refers to the cloud DC communication area with SR+EVPN technology. The details describe that traditional metro network structures have faced numerous challenges for 5G services.
For instance, complex services, super high costs, difficulty in the execution of cloud networks, and more. As a result, China Unicom introduced a new smart metro equipment project with virtual techniques for the 5G demand in the world.
Here are some main benefits of the smart metropolitan area network (MAN):
- New networks area can well operate 5G integration for government, enterprise, and home brand services
- It will have a large capacity and advanced architecture
- The advanced MAN network can save a lot of space and power via converged bearer
- It can provide better-integrated capacity for cloud services
- The addition of a controller will greatly increase the speed of the services
Huawei has already worked for the country’s first 5G commercial site for the smart metropolitan area network. At that time, the network of the metropolitan area increased 10 times in comparison to the original product.
Besides, the cost of unit bandwidth was reduced to 75%. Hence, China Unicom believes that taking the help of Huawei Technologies will give a new boost to the overall activity.
