[Update: Mate 20 Series] O2 sending EMUI 10 for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro in the UK

Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro on O2 are receiving the EMUI 10/Android 10 with EMUI version 10.0.0.180 with size over 4.5GB. However, the official O2 support has no track of this update.

Most of our readers say that they’ve not received the update and the official O2 also sounds the same that the update is not rolling out but a Reddit post confirms that the rollout is really happening and you can check the screen linked below. For your information, the build number shows that this is not a beta version.
It’s possible that O2 is rolling out this update in patches may reach to other models soon.

Vodafone has already completed its rollout of EMUI 10 for Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series devices in the UK. By joining this race, another major mobile operator – O2 is now sending EMUI 10 to a Huawei flagship.
According to the information, O2 has begun sending EMUI 10 update for Huawei P30 series, but there’s no confirmation regarding the Mate 20 devices.

Also, other operators such as Three and EE remains silent at the moment because Huawei had officially confirmed that EMUI 10 rollout in the UK will begin in February.
However, the upgrade process from these operators may start ahead of the actual timeline.

This update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.178 with a size of over 4.5GB and an additional 226MB for O2 apps and customizations.
