Next HyperOS update to fix slow charging issue for these Redmi devices

Redmi phone users reported that they are struggling with the slow charging issue after installing HyperOS 2. The issue is affecting Redmi Note 12S and 13 5G models.

Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 13 5G global users are facing problems with charging speeds. Redmi Note 13 5G phone holders are also unable to charge the battery 100%.

The good news is that Xiaomi has started addressing the slow charging issue on the respective devices and promised to roll out a fix with the upcoming HyperOS build.

While there’s no permanent fix at present, Redmi smartphone users can try a few temporary tricks to get rid of the charging problem. These fixes can give relief to users till the new update hits their handsets. You can check the solutions below:

• Try charging the device when powered off
