Next HyperOS update to fix green line and video issues for these devices

Xiaomi is preparing the next HyperOS update for its devices with fixes for green line and video recording delay issues. If you have been struggling with these defects, then don’t miss out on the upcoming software rollout and download it at the earliest.
Some users on the Xiaomi Community noted a strange green line on their phone’s screen. The issue appeared after installing the HyperOS 2.0.1.0 build version.
Redmi Note 12S device owners said that while playing games, surfing the web, or watching videos, the screen displays a weird green line. The issues started emerging after the 2.0.1.0 update. Despite rebooting the phone, the issue persists.
On the other hand, some users said they witnessed video recording delay problems following the HyperOS 1.0.6.0/1.0.7.0 update. The device takes too long to record a video. It is a headache at points when there is a need to shoot the video quickly.
HyperOS devices that are affected by green line and video recording delay issues:
- Redmi Note 12S: Green Line Issue
- Redmi Note 14 5G: Video Recording Delay
- POCO M7 Pro 5G: Video Recording Delay
Although Xiaomi has said to resolve the respective issues in the upcoming HyperOS updates. The company further suggested updating the handset with the latest version as soon as possible. Meanwhile, those who continue to face the issue can try resetting their device. It may work as a temporary solution.
Redmi and POCO phone users can visit Settings > About Phone > System Updates. Follow the on-screen instructions and let the device fetch the latest version.
