Honor is ready to unveil dynamic foldables this year probably with slimmer design but bigger batteries. A new leak says the company began preparing its next-gen folding phones. Perhaps the major upgrade in these devices could be the battery.

The Chinese tech maker launched its first clamshell phone last year – Magic V Flip. Alongside, it unveiled the Magic V3 with the sash of “thinnest foldable ever”.

Now the company is seemingly making Honor Magic V4 and Magic V Flip 2. Both models are expected to debut in the first half of this year with new enhancements.

SmartPikachu notes that the next-gen Honor foldables (Magic V4 and V Flip 2) may sport a thin and lightweight design with higher-density batteries.

The tipster added that the large folding phone (Magic V4) is currently testing a 6000mAh battery. For reference, Honor Magic V3 has a 5150mAh battery with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging support. If the leak is accurate, it would be a significant upgrade for the upcoming Honor foldable phone.

The battery details of the Magic V Flip 2 are unknown. Although we may get the information in the time ahead. The previous-gen model has a battery of 4800mAh capacity. Honor will likely use a larger capacity cell for the upcoming Flip.

Further details say that consumers will witness both these folding phones in the first half of this year. We’ll keep you posted with more revelations on this matter.
