New HyperOS 2 update fixes battery, unlocking bugs for these Xiaomi phones

Xiaomi is rolling out a significant HyperOS 2.0 update for its global users, which installs fixes related to battery and phone unlocking bugs. The new patch also addresses performance and camera issues on various Xiaomi smartphones.

The Chinese phone maker ensures that all problems reported in its weekly bug bulletin are solved. In the latest HyperOS 2.0 update, the company is adding fixes for battery and unlocking issues that have been troubling users for a long while.

Here is the list of devices that should immediately install the new update:

• Redmi Note 13 5G
• POCO X6 Neo 5G
• Redmi Note 12S
• Xiaomi 12 Pro

Xiaomi has fixed the battery-draining issue for the Redmi Note 13 5G and POCO X6 Neo. Users reported that the battery drains quickly while using the fingerprint method to unlock the phone.

On the flip side, it has solved the fingerprint unlocking failure problem for the Redmi Note 12S models. Users can install the upcoming update to get relief from the issue. As per inputs, the OEM is fixing this issue permanently in the next build.

The update also improves the force-close camera unresponsive issue for the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Users can expect a bug-free photography experience with the new version.

Xiaomi is also working on a version that can resolve the following issues:

• Signal Stability Issues: Faced by standard Xiaomi 15 phone users
• Freezing after casting: Redmi Note 13 Pro and POCO M6 Pro
